The H.G.S.A., which consists of parents and staff of the school takes an active part in supporting the school and provides special funds for school. Functions of a social and/or education nature are held throughout the year. There is an annual general meeting when parents and staff are elected onto the committee.

The basic aims of the organisation are:

  3. To organise functions of a social nature.

In the past funds have been raised for a variety of projects including: interactive whiteboards and projectors, digital cameras, TV/videos, playground equipment.

The H.G.S.A. also support the school by funding theatre groups, science show, and musical events in school.

Events held throughout the year include: Summer and Christmas Fairs, Duck races, magic evenings and discos.
