Mrs Perry's Class
Year 2 & Year 3
Welcome to our Year 2 & Year 3 class – a caring, inspiring and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop independence and enjoy new challenges every day.
Our mixed-age class provides children with exciting opportunities to learn alongside one another, developing resilience, teamwork and a love of learning. We carefully plan lessons that build on prior knowledge and meet the needs of every child, ensuring appropriate challenge and support so that everyone can achieve their very best.
Through a broad and ambitious curriculum, children continue to strengthen their reading, writing and mathematical skills while developing their knowledge and understanding across all curriculum subjects. Practical learning, educational visits and memorable experiences help to bring learning to life, encouraging curiosity and helping children make meaningful connections between subjects.
We value the strong relationships we build with our families and believe that working together enables every child to flourish. We look forward to sharing your child's successes throughout the year and celebrating their progress, achievements and personal growth.
Meet the Year 2 & Year 3 Team
Our Year 2 & Year 3 class is supported by a dedicated and enthusiastic team who work together to provide a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Our class teachers,, Mrs Perry, who plans and delivers high-quality teaching and learning that inspires children to become confident, independent learners. They carefully plan engaging lessons that build on children's strengths while supporting them to overcome new challenges.
Supporting our class each day are our teaching assistants, Mrs Edge and Mrs Doughty. They play an important role in helping children to succeed by providing encouragement, personalised support and opportunities for every child to thrive both academically and personally.
Together, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels happy, valued and supported, creating a classroom where everyone is encouraged to work hard, be kind and enjoy learning every day.
